One of the “biggest” events of a busy weekend was a close encounter with the big Chicago Bears linebacker himself, Brian Urlacher.
The 6-foot-3-inch Urlacher and his statuesque wife, Laurie Urlacher, were the young celebrities at a benefit Saturday for Ronald McDonald House. The former Lobo was in town for his third annual football camp at the University of New Mexico and agreed to headline the fund-raiser.
Urlacher, who is as solid as a rock at 244 pounds, graciously signed autographs for more than an hour for about 200 fans. He also donated 10 items for the auction.
