Lynette Alice "Squeaky" Fromme (born October 22, 1948) is a former member of Charles Manson's "Family", convicted of attempting to assassinate U.S. President Gerald Ford in 1975. The nickname "Squeaky" was reportedly given to her in reference to the squeak noise she would make when George Spahn would playfully grab her leg at their Spahn Ranch commune. She is currently serving a life sentence in prison
